Maria Carruyo is a licensed Permanent Makeup Artist, certified Microblading Artist and certified Ombré Eyebrow Artist.
“Maria Carruyo was spending countless hours filling in her brows for YEARS.. She tried every pencil, powder, pigment, gel, and stencil, and was STILL missing half her brow by the end of the day. She started looking for a smudge-proof solution, which is when she discovered Microblading. Maria Carruyo was instantly fascinated by the technique. She spent months drawing eyebrows on friends and models in her community, doing industry-related research. Eventually, Maria Carruyo took a hands-on Microblading course through the Brows by VJ Advanced Permanent Makeup Academy.
With a background in fine art and detailed drawing, the permanent makeup industry combined Maria Carruyo’s mindset and inner artist with a unique profession. Maria Carruyo is now using her expertise as a skilled Microblading and Ombré Brow artist to help restore the self-esteem and confidence in those individuals undergoing chemotherapy, suffering from alopecia, trichotillomania, or any other conditions that create hair loss, as well as those who have over-plucked or are simply not satisfied with their eyebrows.
